Will Rajinikanth’s Kabali AFFECT Varun Dhawan and John Abraham’s Dishoom?

The South film is still running strong at the box office…

Varun Dhawan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Dishoom is releasing this Friday, July 29 and while everyone are excited about the film, the buzz surrounding the movie is not that big. Especially, after two bumper hits like Sultan and Kabali have just released. The craze before Rajinikanth’s film was HUGE. The first show was kept at 4 am, people even took holidays to see the film and celebrated the film like a festival. But when we see that sort of buzz for a film, anything will be less for us. However, both Sultan and Kabali are performing well at the box office. In fact, the latter still has a very good occupancy. So could Kabali affect Dishoom? We spoke to our trade expert and this is what he had to say…

Amul Mohan (Editor of Super Cinema) revealed to us, “I think it is very subjective. I think both the movies are different. The people who will watch Dishoom are a different audience (as compared to the people who will see Kabali). Also, there hasn’t been a proper Hindi release since Sultan. A two week gap is a big deal, so people will want to watch something new, something different. Varun has a great fan following too, so both the films can co-exist. Sultan is also in its fourth week and it will do certain numbers even though it is in its fourth week, Dishoombut there won’t be a clear cut fight (between Rajinikanth‘s Kabali and Varun Dhawan’s Dishoom). Both will co-exist.”
