Where is Nandamuri Balakrishnan heading for the next schedule of Gautamiputra Satakarni? 

Guatamiputra Satkarni will be Nandamuri’s 100th film

As we know all, actor-turned-MLA  Nandamuri Balakrishna is busy shooting for the historical drama- Gautamiputra Satakarni. The film revolves around the life of the great Satvahna ruler, Gautamiputra Satakarni. Krish Jagarlamudi is the one helming this grand scale project.

The makers have already wrapped up two schedules in Morocco and Georgia respectively. The climax sequence was shot in Georgia. It was the scene where Nandamuri Balakrishna aka Satakarni  battled it out with Greek soldiers. The scene reportedly involved 1000 soldiers, 300 horses and 20 chariots. For now, the unit has taken a break as Krish is all set to tie the knot to Ramya who is a doctor.

The team will reportedly resume shooting in the last week of this month in Hyderabad. Post which, the team will head to Madhya Pradesh to shoot for the talkie part (silent portion). The shooting will most likely begin on September 1. The film also stars Shriya Saran and Hema Malini. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and will be produced by Y Rajeev Reddy.

The first look of the this historical drama has upped our excitement. The movie is most likely to release during Sankranti next year. From what we hear, even Chiranjeevi’s next will release around the same time. So are the two superstars headed for a clash? Well, that would make things exciting! Nandamuri fans are super excited about the film and are eagerly awaiting its release.

Meanwhile, Nandamuri already has another project in the pipeline. He will reportedly be portraying a farmer in his next. The film is being called Rythu.
