Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez give Comedy Nights Bachao a miss! Find out why

The maker of Dishoom, Sajid Nadiadwala doesn’t want his Dishoom cast to go on the show and get insulted!

Comedy Nights Bachao may be cracking some humour that goes down well with the viewers, but clearly the celebrities are not ready to take this kind of jest in a light way. In fact, a lot of them have decided to steer clear off this show. Krushna Abhishek’s ‘roast’ is not going down well with some film stars, who have decided to stay away from his show Comedy Nights Bachao! Sources say that stars are unwilling to go on the show and be insulted, which is the format of the show. Earlier, there were reports of Akshay Kumar being miffed with the hosts for their racist jokes against Lisa Haydon when they had gone to promote Housefull 3.

Now, we hear Jacqueline and her Dishoom co-stars John Abraham and Varun Dhawan have refused to appear on the show. Says a source, “It’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s decision. He did not like what his stars Jacqueline and Lisa Haydon had been subjected to when they had gone to promote Housefull 3 along with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. So, this time he has told his stars Varun, John and Jackie to not go on the show. Why should they be going to promote their film on a show and get embarrassed?”

For all those who are unaware of the Lisa Haydon joke, comedian Sidharth Jadhav took a racist dig at both Lisa Haydon and Jacqueline Fernandez by calling Lisa a black African who looks like a Kangaroo from Australia. Of course, the racist comment on the leading ladies of Housefull 3 resulted in the actors Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh fuming. Now maybe all that’s in the past but interestingly, Jackie is judging Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on the same channel!
