Shah Rukh Khan was spotted with filmmaker Aanand L Rai on Tuesday evening outside a high-end bar in Bandra. It’s already known that SRK is collaborating with the Tanu Weds Manu director for his upcoming film, where he will be seen essaying the role of a dwarf. It seems the duo met to discuss the first schedule of the film as they are yet to begin shooting and if these pictures are anything to go by then they are super excited about the film. They were all smiles as they walked out of the bar and seemed quite happy.
Here are all the pictures –
This is the first time in his 25-year-long career when Shah Rukh will be seen playing the role of a dwarf and perhaps it is because of this excitement that the film began to be referred as the ‘dwarf film’. However, Aanand L Rai feels that the film is way more than that. He insists that like his other films Ranjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu, this film too will tell the story of a man and a woman, the only difference being that this time it will be about a short man.
Talking about his look in the film, Shah Rukh told Hindustan Times earlier this year, “My look is very different from Kamal Hassan’s in Appu Raja. We have done the test, we are through with the trailers. We will be releasing it (look) properly. It’s important that the audience accepts our effort. I think we will be begin (prep) work in a day or two.”
SRK is presently shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next film which is reportedly titled Raula, opposite Anushka Sharma. They recently completed the Punjab schedule. Apart from these two films, the superstar will be next seen in a cameo in Salman Khan’s Tubelight, which is scheduled to hit the theatres this year during the Eid weekend.
