Sasural Simar Ka: Vaishali Thakkar roped in to play Simar’s daughter!

Is Dipika Kakar aka Simar ok with sharing the limelight with this new girl?

Sasural Simar Ka has always been a roller-coaster ride. The show, which began as an ordinary saas-bahu drama (a popular genre in Indian Television) with the story of two sisters getting married in the same house, has now become a supernatural show where the lead actress keeps transforming into witches and flies! Falling short of animals, the writers have now decided to take a six-year time leap.

The leap was taken after Simar and Prem’s separation. The reason for the separation was their child, who was apparently a devil. Now Simar and Prem lead separate lives. While Simar stays with her son, Prem lives in Bhardwaj house with his daughter. It’s at this point that the show is all set to take yet another time-leap. After this leap of nearly 10-12 years, their children will be the focus of the show.

According to a report in Telly Chakkar, Vaishali Thakkar (Yeh Vaada Raha fame) has been roped in to play the role of Anjali – Simar and Prem’s daughter. Anjali will be a total spoilt brat. While Prem and Simar will continue to be the central characters of the show, these youngsters will bring in the much required freshness. The complete look of the show is being said to be changed by including various youth concepts, and won’t shy away from romance.

Jyotsna Chandola, who plays Khushi in the show, also feels that leaps bring freshness to the show. In a interview with Telly Chakkar she said, “I think that such changes in different shows bring variety, which is much needed for the audience. The new bunch of actors, who joins the show, provide freshness to the viewers and I am pretty sure that same will happen with SSK as well.”

Now all we need to know is whether Dipika Kakkar who plays Simar, is okay to play a mother to a grown-up girl, who is nearly her age!
