And now the best part, the Malay version of the movie is set to premiere in Malaysia today. The makers are expecting good turn out at the box office considering Rajini has a huge fan base there and that a large part of the movie is shot in Malaysia. So, gear up for some record breaking collections even in Malaysia only adding further to the phenomenal figure of Rs 2320 crore!  The ending for the Malay version has been tweaked to suit the audience there. Reportedly the  film has crossed the 2 million mark ( Rs 14 crore) in Malaysia already. And mind you, this is the Tamil version. Let’s wait and watch to see how this gangsta drama fares at the Malaysian box office.

Kabali is about a don who defends the Tamilian in Malaysia. The movie also stars Radhika Apte and Dhansika. The film is directed by Pa Ranjith and the music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
