On one hand we have Rajini’s superstar aura that leaves fans in awe, and on the other hand, there is his humility that leaves them equally stunned!
Rajinikanth’s Kabali hit theatres on July 22nd worldwide and the euphoria around the film is like a WTF fact come to life! All exaggerated statements hold true when it comes to Rajinikanth. Thalaiva fans can do anything for this superstar. But let’s tell you one secret. When it comes to Thalaiva, it’s honestly about the man behind that star–an ordinary, humble man who success hasn’t changed at all! When the whole world was literally talking about Kabali, the superstar was talking a stroll in the US, far away from the hoopla and the frenzy. And now here’s another unbelievable gesture only Rajinikanth could have made. He wrote a handwritten letter to his fans thanking them for Kabali’s success. At least that’s what the Rajini fans have stated and shared extensively across social media. The letter is written in Tamil and for some strange reason is dated 2017 which makes you question its authenticity. But Rajinikanth fans were quick to defend it saying only the superstar could have written a letter dated in the future, staying on line with the plethora of jokes that are doing the rounds on social media. So here is what the letter looks like.

In the letter he goes on to explain how shooting for Kabali had left him exhausted and that, he had been recuperating in the US for the past one month. The letter said the following—“After returning to India, I could witness the success of ‘Kabali’ in the country. I would like to thank the film’s producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, all the co-artistes, theatre owners, distributors and the audience for the success of the film,” He also signed off saying Magizhchi, something only Rajinikanth can pull off. These are the little things that make Rajinikanth the superstar!
Rajinikanth’s Kabali hit theaters on July 22nd and created a storm at the box office. So far as of the 4th day, it has reportedly raked in 230 crores at the worldwide box office collection.
