NOT Fawad Khan, but Ali Zafar started the no kissing clause!

We didn’t say so, the actor did!

Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan is on cloud nine these days. Ever since the actor made his debut in Bollywood, he is counted among the most talented actors in this industry. And after Kapoor & Sons, he has become every director’s favourite. But he has a few terms and conditions for working here. Fawad who romanced Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat, doesn’t fancy getting intimate on screen. Apparently, the reason behind this is, his wife doesn’t want him to get touchy with his heroines onscreen. But if you thought that it was Fawad who started this no kissing clause onscreen then hold on! Pakistani actor Ali Zafar has to say something.

While talking to a leading daily, Ali was asked if he had similar inhibitions about kissing on screen as his Pakistani colleague Fawad who follows a no-kissing policy, he immediately clarified, “I was the one who started the no-kissing clause. It was applied in Chashme Buddoor and my previous films since I wasn’t too comfortable with it back then”.

The actor also confessed he might kiss onscreen in the future, “Having said that, I feel sometimes you need to take some liberty as an actor. Lets’ see if I stick to this clause in the future. I won’t say I don’t mind locking lips now. It’s just that I may not be as stringent about it anymore”.

Hmm…Looks like the Meri Brother Ki Dulhan actor is all set to break rules to get his Bollywood career on track. To be added here, the actor will be seen playing one of Alia Bhatt’s admirers in Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi which stars Shah Rukh Khan in a prominent role.
