But here’s the thing- even though the numbers are decently impressive, Kabali’s collection so far has FAILED to beat Salman Khan’s Sultan’s box office numbers in India which was about Rs. 195.90 crore on day 6.

Moreover, the movie needs to mint about Rs 300 crore for it be considered a profitable venture. Rajinikanth’s Kabali is all set to premiere in Malaysia tomorrow. In fat, certain parts of the movie have been tweaked to suit the Malaysian audience. The makers are expecting a decent collection here, for two reasons. One that Rajini has a large fan base in Malaysia and two, a significant part of the movie is shot in Malaysia. Hoping the Malaysian performance will help the movie achieve its 300 crore mark worldwide.
