The new star kid on the block…
Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s six-year-old son, Ayaan has made his on-screen debut in a video which gives the message of saving tigers.
Ayaan appears in the video along with other kids and stresses on the importance of saving animal life and environment. “Ayaan makes his first appearance on screen at the age of 6… The same age as I was when I first faced the camera!” Emraan, 37, posted on Twitter.
The short film has been produced by actress Diya Mirza’s Born Free Entertainment Pvt Ltd and it aims to share a simple and vital message of ‘Tiger and Environment Conservation’ through the innocent voices of children.
“@deespeak @sahil_sangha bravo guys… See my babycub support the save the tiger cause,” Emraan tweeted.
The film aims to spread a vital message about tiger and nature conservation through the voices of children belonging to different age groups. “This has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Involving our future generation in this initiative has been nothing short of enlightening and fulfilling for me.
“As tigers struggle for survival, I hope that the message sent out is strong enough to nudge our nation to guarantee tiger protection from threats like poaching, and intrusion into their natural habitat,” Dia said in a statement.

“We need to remember, what happens to the tiger, to our forests and our rivers, ultimately affects each one of us,” she said.
The film has been written by Cara Tejpal and Sahil Sangha, captured by ace photographer Rohan Shrestha and produced by Born Free Entertainment.
Despite countries such as India, Nepal, Russia and Bhutan registering a spike in the tiger population, the status of the animal still remains ‘endangered’, the statement said.
